This customer's idea: a mobile application that allows coffee lovers to locate the nearest coffee bar, and then order a coffee there. The user then receives a notification when their order is ready, so they don't have to queue up.
We provided a solution that appealed to both coffee buyers and coffee shop owners. The result was a cross-platform mobile app in which users could find the nearest shop, scroll through the menu and place their order at the same time. They then receive a push notification when their order is ready for pick-up.
The customers of our client - cafés owners - can easily manage their location, menu and opening hours themselves via the MVC.NET we host on Azure. We also host the backend of the app on Microsoft Azure. Win-win!
On this application it is possible to manage different Multi-tenants, and different customers can use the same infrastructure at the same time. The app is supported by Android and iOS. Also, both the app and the web app are multilingual, helping customers with different nationalities.
For the elaboration, we provided detailed interactive mock-ups so the client could confirm that the app was as expected. Using Azure saved a lot of time, and we were able to get the app up and running quickly.
