As market leader for measuring instruments, Testo has a large customer base and therefore many calibrations that need to be done annually. It was used to be done on paper, with a calculator, but such manual processes have a high margin of error. They took up a lot of time and manpower.
So the goal was to digitize and automate. <span And that's what BizzPro is good for. With Testo's Bart Peeten as the driving force behind the project, we looked together for the perfect solution.
A world of difference for the Testo team and for customers
"That efficiency and ease of use of the tool is a relief for our staff and technicians," says Jeroen. "And on top of that, it's an asset that we can also play out to new personnel," he adds. The traditional first-in-first-out principle of the devices was exchanged for a more efficient method. "Thanks to the software, we know which devices need calibration, and we can take different devices that need the same test together," says the Managing Director. That saves a lot of time and also puts the most important tasks first.
The software also eliminates the need for manual calculations, and with a single click you can check whether everything matches within the reference values. This was done first with templates, Excel files and separate scans. Enormously cumbersome compared to the new and improved system. And especially important for Testo, as a company where the customer is central: it also means an upgrade for them. Calibration is always accompanied by an official certificate, which they can now easily retrieve digitally via a QR code. They get a login, and can consult their history. In this way, Testo helps with lighting the administration.
A major impact in a short time: a collaboration with BizzPro
Testo and BizzPro have two collaborations in the meantime on the counter. Completely different projects, but both have an enormous impact.
